Eight rock bands on the sand at Zaimokuza, from garage and surf to a Green Day tribute, across one afternoon by the sea. For its ninth edition and first beach date, Too Hot to Be Cool leaves the city for the beach house NA Seci, a wristband letting you drift between the stage, your table, and the water. Doors at noon, the last note at seven. Advance tickets are 3,000 yen, under-27s 2,000, under-16s 1,000; the proceeds go to mangrove restoration in the Philippines.
