The 35 percent coolcation surge everyone quoted this summer is Sixt, the car-rental firm, forecasting "up to 35%," not a booking count. The phantom "Visit Scandinavia year-end report" behind it does not exist, and two of its three countries, Finland and Iceland, are Nordic, not Scandinavian.
