Western Sydney International opens October 25 without a train, and the margin gets thin late at night.

  • The free WSI Link bus to St Marys station will run every 30 minutes, 4:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday to Thursday, 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday (Transport for NSW, October 10).
  • Five regular routes run every 30 minutes, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Super Shuttle WSI: A$25 to Parramatta, $55 to central Sydney, $65 to Sydney's existing airport (adult one-way launch fares, September 28).
  • From November 23, Singapore Airlines' daily flight is due at 10:20 p.m. On Sunday-to-Thursday nights that leaves at most 1 hour 40 minutes, less if it is late, to clear immigration and bags before the free shuttle stops; then the paid shuttle if timed to your flight, a taxi or rideshare.
  • No government page I checked dates the metro's opening.
